Weekly Slot Car Tournament Social

Exciting social event centered around a fun slot car racing tournament. Maximum of 20 entries per event. While here not only will you be entered into a fun competitive race but you will have time to play games and hang out with others. If you wish you can also book a session on one of the racing simulators. If there are 20 entries the event can take 3 hours so you will have plenty of time to socialize, race yourself and watch others race.

Each racer will get

5 minute Practice Approx 50 laps

3 minute Qualify Approx 30 laps

10 minute Heat Race 1 Approx 100 laps

10 Minute Heat Race 2 Approx 100 laps

If you are fast enough top 2 racers from each run group will get a 10 minute final elimination race and the fastest driver out of each final elimination race will get to race in the main for a 10 minute race.

Format

Practice - 5 racers per run group / Maximum 4 run groups

Qualify - 4 racers per run groups / Maximum 5 run groups

Heat Race 1 - 5 racers per run groups / Maximum 4 run groups

Heat Race 2 - 5 racers per run groups / Maximum 4 run groups

Final Elimination Race - Top 2 racers from each run group from heat 2 race a Final Elimination race, up to 2 run groups

Main Race - Top 5 racers from Final Elimination races, if there is an odd number the final 5th position will be based off fastest time from prior race. For Example 2 elimination run groups the top 2 finishers from each run group and the 5th will be based on the 3rd place finisher from those groups, the one with the faster lap will race the main.
